Reviewed By: Ritchie. Review date: Sat 3. March 2. 01. 2. 5. Rating: Excellent. VERIFIEDWATCHSHOPBUYER (PURCHASED: TUE 2. TH MAR 2. 01. 2)I was looking for a smart looking, analogue style, no- fuss watch and this seems to be it.
On normal watches it annoys me when at the end of the month you need to remember to set the correct date on the watch. Or at the start of the next month, at the one time you want a correct date it would normally be incorrect.
A digital watch would solve these problems but they dont look smart or professional. This watch however, does solve these problems. It features the ability to synchronise with the atomic clock radio frequency broadcast which keeps it accurate, even when daylight savings take effect. The calendar is automatic and knows when there is 3. It also gives you a day of the week readout. Another thing that bothers me about watches is changing batteries. This watch is solar powered.
Which at first may not seem such a good idea as your watch may not always be exposed to light, but it seems to work well. It is quite smart Ive noticed at night, when in bed the second hand stops ticking to save power, Im guessing when there isnt much light it conserves energy. Dont worry though, it have a recharable battery inside which can last for months without any energy from light. You can get an idea of how much power the watch has left by observing the second hand. If it skips seconds then it isnt at full power, the more seconds it skips the less power it has. It looks good, the bracket is a nice mixture of polished and brushed stainless steel so is not too flash.
It has a nice weight. After a short while even the messy face with all its dials and marks becomes easy to read. It has some other features such as stopwatch and alarm while also being 1.
The alarm isnt going to wake me up and it only sounds for 1. When using the stopwatch you have to wait for the hands to move to their starting position before you can use it, which takes a few seconds (depending on the distance to has to rotate), so it might not be great if youre in a rush.
The only drawbacks to this watch is its complexity to perform certain functions. It has 4 buttons and 1 screw which probably could be lessened. Its annoying that the screw cant be used to set the time like on normal watches, instead you have to press buttons repeatedly. Also if you were to go on holiday and wanted to swap the time to local time. I honestly dont know how to do it and it cant be figured out just by looking at the watch since sometimes you might need to press and hold the button to access certain functions rather than a short press.
In this case I would need to refer to the manual which is another problem. The manual is tiny but massively thick (for all the languages). The instructions could be made much more concise. Overall, this is a much less expensive watch compared to the prestigious names. It is feature packed and would rarely need attention.
It is Japanese and therefore reliable. Looks smart and feels nice. Probably more complicated than it needed to be but overall recommended. Was this review helpful to you?

VERIFIEDWATCHSHOPBUYER (PURCHASED: SUN 1. TH MAY 2. 01. 2)A beautiful piece of engineering, technologically superb. Never needs a battery, never needs setting, never needs to be taken off! I fail to understand why anyone would pay way more for a watch that cant be any more accurate.
Stunning piece of kit. BUY YOURSELF ONE! Was this review helpful to you? No. Reviewed By: woweezowee.

VERIFIEDWATCHSHOPBUYER (PURCHASED: MON 2. TH MAY 2. 01. 2)A great looking watch which looks better on the wrist than it does in the pictures. It also feels good not too big or heavy. Excellent features such as the solar battery, automatic time s and world time. If youre not familiar with the features of this watch then I would recommend reading the instructions manual, performing the suggested checks and a manual time , before using it for the first time.
Initially my watch wouldnt set to the correct time, despite following the instructions - possibly due to strong magnetism or impact. I followed the instructions on how to adjust/reset the home position of the watch hands. This corrected the problem and it has worked accurately ever since. Was this review helpful to you? TH DEC 2. 01. 2)After reading so many reviews about this watch, I decided to buy it and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised with its build quality, style and features. Absolutely top class. The fact that I can set it to different regions of the world by just a press of a button really impressed me.
And once you set the home city time you dont have to do anything else. Most watches fail because of frequently adjusting the time or date to suit your location or to correct the time.
Not with this one! And the 2. 4 hour clock comes in handy too.
You do need to read the set up instructions though, but once you familiarise yourself with the buttons it is easy to access the whole range of functions. Its a bit heavy on the wrist but I suppose that assures you of its quality. To be honest there arent many watches around these days that are so well made.
If you are seriously considering a new watch that will make you stand out in a crowd go for this one. For me it was money well spent. Was this review helpful to you? No. Reviewed By: Raif. Review date: Tue 1. November 2. 01. 1.
Rating: Excellent. VERIFIEDWATCHSHOPBUYER (PURCHASED: FRI 4. TH NOV 2. 01. 1)I bought this watch because I travel overseas regularly and therefore need to switch to different time zones. The atomic nature of this watch negates the need to make any adjustments. It is solar powered, so you'll never have to worry about changing batteries. Simply leave it by a window last thing at night and when you pick it up the next day, it will be fully charged and exactly the right time. The watch looks excellent, from it's high quality precision face to it's superb, chrome and brushed steel casing and elegant yet robust bracelet.
All the functions are fun and easy to use. It's not exactly a dress watch but I haven't seen a better looking all- round watch anywhere for this kind of money, which, compared to other watches of this calibre, is very cheap. It feels very comfortable on my wrist and has a safety feature on the clasp of the bracelet that ensures it'll never come loose accidentally. It's not too heavy but feels reassuringly solid. This is an excellent watch. Was this review helpful to you?

VERIFIEDWATCHSHOPBUYER (PURCHASED: WED 2. RD MAY 2. 01. 2)This is my second Casio watch, and i am certainly not disappointed! Ill be honest, it was a bit of a pain to set up and i had some troubles with the day of the week. I went to bed with the watch still not correct, but when i woke up it had corrected itself due to being radio controlled! Thats what i love about this watch, it will always be the correct time! Even if you feel that it is out of sync, all you have to do is press a button, leave it near a window for a few minutes and it will automatically correct itself!
The other thing i love about this watch is the solar powered battery, such a genius idea and i dont know why more watches dont have this feature! The hands also light up in the dark if they have had enough light exposure, as do certain areas around the watch face. All round this is an amazing watch and would certainly recommend it to anyone thinking of getting one! Was this review helpful to you? No. Reviewed By: uumode. Review date: Thu 3. September 2. 01. 0.
Rating: Excellent. VERIFIEDWATCHSHOPBUYER (PURCHASED: MON 2. TH SEP 2. 01. 0)My criteria for a new watch was an upgrade to my existing Casio Tough Solar / Waveceptor watch so I needed. Once you have experienced the deadly accuracy of a radio controlled watch, you'll want no less!)surprisingly there aren't many manufacturers in the World.
So the choice was down to Casio and Citizen. I looked at the Citizens but they seemed to be far more expensive and Edifice seemed to be at least equal in terms of build and quality. Besides I didn't like the look of the Citizens since they looked a bit older in design than the more contemporary Edifice designs. I settled for the M7.
DB because it had date (yes I occasionally forget the day in my hectic week) and a ring timer. But also because I felt it was aesthetically the best. The watch oddly doesn't feel big on your wrist, and everything works as expected for me. TIP: out of the box the watch is set to Japan time so won't be able to sync, just follow the instructions. At first things a little complicated because it doesn't have a digital display to aid you, but once mastered, this is not an issue. A very, very solid watch, it feels substantial and much more expensive than it actually is : -)Incredible value for money for what it does compared to other watch manufacturers.
If I had to nit pick, it would be 1.
